FAQ – shipping and handling – Cues

UNLOADING OF TRUCKS

• Unload one skid at a time.
• Support each skid evenly and on the same plane.
• Do NOT exceed the capacity of the forklift/crane.

MOVING

• Moving one skid at a time is recommended.
• If more than one skid is to be moved at once, make sure to stack the skids evenly and on the same plane.
• Do NOT exceed the capacity of the forklift/crane.
• Load one skid at a time.
• Stack the skids evenly and on the same plane.
• Use only fabric straps to fasten the load.
• Do not use chains.

STORING

• Store the plates flat on the pallet provided.
• The pallet must be fully supported across the bottom.
• Store the pallet on a flat surface.
• DO NOT store any plates on etheir side.
• Store the plates in a moisture-free environment.

HANDLING

• To prevent scratches and maintain the plates’ integrity, use a vacuum lifter.
